The Association of Bridal Consultants in Orange County (ABC-OC) is a volnteer-run organization that serves wedding vendors world-wide.  They’ve been around since 1981 to serve the wedding industry by having regular meetings and mixers for brides and professionals in the wedding industry.  ABC-OC had their January mixer at Best of the Best Event Productions.  Best of the Best is a decorating and theming company for all types of events.  They have been around for 48 years and now have a showroom and giant warehouse in Fountain Valley, CA.

The event was so wonderful!  The showrooms and offices were decorated beautifully, their warehouse is packed with great props and it’s very organized.  The employees gave all the guest open tours of the offices and warehouse with many unique props and theming ideas.  The service was great with friendly and welcoming employees.  All the guests mingled in the showroom at the beginning of the event and we took turns going on group tours.  Here are some pictures of the great set-ups that we admired in the showroom while sipping on some wine…

This gorgeous set-up had matching chair cushions, tablecloth, and napkins.  The Chavari chairs are a great contemporary wedding style and alternative to chair covers.  BTB owns these linens and table settings and can set this style up for any event.

This centerpiece is one of the many beautiful designs that BTB can setup for any occasion.  This was a spring-themed umbrella table setting with flowers, candles, and unique vases perfect for a bridal shower, a baby shower, or any outdoor event.

This elegant center piece is great for a wedding on a budget, a cocktail table piece, or any other fancy event.  Is can be done with fake or real flower(s) inside and the beautiful black beading on the top edge can be customized to your liking to match the beads in this uniquely designed vase.

So after mingling, meeting some great vendors, and going on the warehouse tour (in which 90% of the columns, elaborate cut-outs, and large theme items were created in-house by BTB), they welcomed us and served us dinner in a huge tent.  This looked like an ordinary tent from the outside, but the inside was anything but ordinary.  I was elegantly decorated and gave the feeling of a gorgeous, up-scale wedding reception.

This is the inside of the gorgeous tent.  There was elegant draping all over the top and sides with perfect creases and designing everywhere.  The beautiful mandap you see was in the center of the tent encasing delicate desserts and appetizers made by Bedazzeled Catering.  This tent can be re-created in any size (larger or smaller) for any occasion.

All the food was surrounded by beautiful florals and decor that beautifully matched the centerpieces on the dinner tables, cocktail tables, and coffee tables in the lounge area.  There were also decked out stage with ice sculptures and a water wall in the entrance.

Overall, the event was absolutely wonderful.  From the organization, to the guests, to the unimaginably creative decor at the event.  I met some wonderful people, enjoyed some food and wine, as well as brainstormed my own ideas.  The Best of the Best Event Productions made it clear that any vendor and any client can come by their office to check out their inventory and design ideas freely.  To mention again, the staff is wonderful and friendly…I would absolutely recommend BTB for any occasion.
