Brideworld.com organized a great bridal show this past Sunday (September 14) at the Orange County Fair and Event Center.  Here are some of my opinions on the big bridal show:

Location

Orange County is a huge hub for bridal bustle.  Upper-middle class residents are excited for the perfect wedding, so they head off to a bridal show to find their vendors.  The OC Fair and Event Center is a very popular place, very easy to find, close to the freeway, and had free parking!  The expo was indoors, however there wasn’t much ventilation and it got pretty hot in there!

Vendors

There were over a hundred vendors throughout the entire expo!  I found a plethora of services like photo, DJing, products, video, flowers, and even some venues.  Some booths had fabulous set-ups that attracted the attention of many people.  There were even free sample of cake, food and candy at some booths.  There were some booths playing good music, but it was a little loud, especally when you could hear two different booths playing different music mushing together.  There were free magazines, honeymoon give-aways, and I even got free hairspray!

The Crowd

There were an incredible number of people at this show.  The venue was large enough, however the amount of people was overwhelming in this stuffy location.  The majority of the attendees were future brides, their mothers, sisters, cousins, and friends.  There weren’t too many men there, although I did see some and nearly all of them were future grooms.

Energy

The employees at the bridal show weren’t too welcoming and I felt they should have had more excitement when greeting attendants of their show.  There was a fashion show, grooms’ competition, and door prizes at scheduled times with music and cheering.  The crowd was very excited and energetic.

Overall, I think that Brideworld.com did a great job at this bridal expo.  I do support the indoor facility, but there wasn’t enough air circulation for the amount of people in the facility.  This was a great show with a variety of vendors and great organization.  I would recommend people to go to the next Brideworld show because it’s a good way to begin your wedding planning experience.  Happy Wedding Planning!
